Project manager for a general contracting firm, headquartered in St. Louis. In this position you'll be collaborating with the estimating and preconstruction teams to put together bid packages. Some projects include multifamily (senior-living, higher education housing, apartments/condos), light industrial (warehouses, distribution centers, light manufacturing), and commercial. Currently experiencing a lot of backlog, so there is a strong pipeline of work going into 2025. • Responsible for all project operations while working closely with owners and internal/external project teams
• Plans and coordinates project activities inline company polices and procedures
• Lead the ground-up construction projects
• Creates and reviews project schedules
• Partner with client from preconstruction phase through closeout
• Direct the support staff and coordinate with field crews and superintendents to ensure project delivery
• Establishes and fosters relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors
• Responsible for forecasting and estimating costs and changes to costs for project completion
• Assist in hiring and mentoring new employeesProfile
  • At least 5+ years of experience with a general contractor
  • Experience in ground up industrial, multifamily, and/or commercial office space
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Organized and communicative
  • Experience leading ground-up projects $20M+
  • Experience in design/build
  • Procore software
  • Must be a hard worker with the ability to take initiative
