• Certification Details
• Certifications Required: BLS, CPI.
• Skills Required: Geriatric, Inpatient, Locked Unit, Medical/Psych, Substance use/Chemical Dependency, Medication Administration, Starting and maintaining IVs, Blood glucose monitoring, Foley catheter insertion/maintenance.

  • Patient population: Adult Psychiatric and geriatric, some with co-morbid medical conditions requiring med-surg approach.
  • Some patients may require pre-op prep for ECT.
  • Duties include IV start, presence in Milieu, restraint application, and potential to work as charge nurse as needed.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have 1 year of experience.
    • First-time travelers accepted.
    • Ratios: 1:6.
    • Float within scope as needed to meet facility needs.
    • Local candidates are not accepted.
    • Licenses: Pending license accepted.
    • RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days off.
      • Schedule Information
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
      • On-call Requirement: No.
      • Open to accommodating block schedule: No.
      • Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Patient population includes older adult and adult patients, some with medical comorbidities and mobility issues.
        • Some diagnoses include dementia, depression, Parkinson's Disease, bipolar disorder, or anxiety.
