  • Free, convenient parkingOncology:Oncology is a 41-bed unit dedicated to providing personable, innovative, and compassionate care to all our patients, including those with new or complicated cancer diagnoses and hematological disorders. Our team works most closely with Mercy Hospitalists, Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Palliative Care, Hospice, and Chaplains. Nurses within the Oncology unit have an opportunity to grow in skills such as:
    Central linesWound careOstomy careIV therapyCorpaks, G-Tubes, NG tubes And morePatient Population:New or current complex cancer diagnosesInpatient chemotherapy administrationPatients transitioning to end of life careHematologic disorders, such as sickle cellMedical surgical diagnoses, such as diabetes, wound management, respiratory failure, acute kidney injury, and more!Qualifications:

    • Education: - High school diploma or GED equivalent -
    • Preferred Experience: 1 yr LPN experience
    • Licensure: - Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure. Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements -
