Job Summary:Centene Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Data
Governance Expert to join our team. As a Data Governance Lead, you
will be responsible for representing Data Governance in assigned
data domains, applying Data Ownership & Stewardship structure,
evaluating and remedying Data Quality issues, curating the data
catalog with data domain/system related definitions and knowledge,
and leading owners and stewards in implementing key Data Governance
initiatives as part of the business initiatives.Key
Responsibilities:
- Represent Data Governance in assigned data domains to apply
Data Ownership & Stewardship structure
- Evaluate and remediate Data Quality issues
- Curate the data catalog with data domain/system related
definitions and knowledge
- Lead owners and stewards in implementing key Data Governance
initiatives as part of the business initiatives
- Provide customer support through consistently leading meetings
with senior stakeholders and IT
- Perform data analysis through development of code for data
domain related needs
- Develop presentations through delivery of results to the
internal teams
- Produce the curation of data catalog for data domain
- Validate rules to enhance data qualityRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, mathematics,
computer science, information management, health management, public
health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or
related field with 4 years of experience as a Data Governance
Specialist II or similar
- Strong aptitude for learning new tools and processes relevant
to analysis, governance, and reporting on complex data in a dynamic
environment
- Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments with
challenging timelines while maintaining high standards
- Expert on Data Governance principles
- Knowledge of business and technology issues related to
management of enterprise information assets
- Experience working with large databases, data verification, and
data management
- Experience with complex data profiling and analysis
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including
Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop complex queries
using SQL or other coding languages
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication
