Preferred QualificationsRole PurposeThe Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is responsible for emergency medical care in the pre-hospital environment. Works under on-line and off-line medical control providing basic life support. Provides direct patient care under the supervision of the RN in the Emergency Department or Paramedic.--Responsibilities
  • Supports and assists with the delivery of patient care, under the direction of the RN or Paramedic.
  • Assists with the maintenance and cleaning of patient care and medical equipment.
  • Performs routine equipment function tests and calibrations.
  • Assists with the inventory of supplies and equipment ensuring adequate supply levels.Minimum RequirementsEducation
